Designed by Jean-Michel Gathy, Four Seasons Hotel Chao Phraya Bangkok is one of three Bangkok hotels on the 2024 World's Best Hotels 100 list. In the hotel's drop-off area, a characteristic main tree (rain tree: Samanea Saman) becomes the hotel's signature landscape.

Designed by Landscape Tectonix Limited in collaboration with Denniston International Firms,the cascading and lush greenery is intimately connected to the well-preserved existing trees, enveloping the riverfront promenade in greenery, elegantly blending the riverside experience with a tranquil ambience.

Jean-Michel Gathy is quite fond of interspersing and surrounding his works with mapping pools, and his interpretation of this preference is that "water is a tool for relaxation and peace, and when you are on the shore of a lake or a river, even the most complex emotions will be calm".

The courtyard is made up of mirrored water features of the interior and exterior spaces, featuring spacious waterways and dramatic reflective effects, creating a natural and tranquil atmosphere that presents a mesmerizing riverside space experience.
